Commuter Fares & Passes
We begin selling passes on the 25th of each month for the following month. The last day a pass can be purchased for the current month is the 10th.
Local Transit Fares & Passes
One-Way Trips and Day Passes are the only cash fare sold on AVTA buses. Your One-Way Trip can also be paid for with stored value loaded on TAP card.
Dial-A-Ride Fares & Reservations
Reservations may be made up to two days in advance and on the same day. Reservations are made on a first-come, first-served basis.

Reduced Fare Eligibility
Once eligibility has been determined, a photo I.D. will be issued which will be required to use the service.
L.I.F.E. (Low-Income Fare is Easy)
Now known as LIFE (Low Income Fare is Easy), which is funded by Los Angeles Metro, Antelope Valley residents can obtain a discount off the cost of a monthly AVTA bus pass if their income level qualifies.
Senior Services
AVTA offers a special Senior Annual Pass to eligible seniors 62 years and older, which will allow them to ride for free on local transit service.
Veterans Services
To serve those who serve us, all United States active military and veterans ride free with proper identification.
Student Services
The program, "Campus Connect", is available through an application process for students who are enrolled in six or more units per semester.
