The Benefits of TAP Cards
Welcome to the world of TAP, where purchasing a pass and riding Metro just got much simpler.

Once eligibility has been determined, a photo I.D. will be issued which will be required to use the service.
L.I.F.E. (Low-Income Fare is Easy)
Now known as LIFE (Low Income Fare is Easy), which is funded by Los Angeles Metro, Antelope Valley residents can obtain a discount off the cost of a monthly AVTA bus pass if their income level qualifies.
AVTA offers a special Senior Annual Pass to eligible seniors 62 years and older, which will allow them to ride for free on local transit service.
To serve those who serve us, all United States active military and veterans ride free with proper identification.
The program, "Campus Connect", is available through an application process for students who are enrolled in six or more units per semester.
