In Lancaster, AVTA's main transfer center is at Sgt. Steve Owen Memorial Park located on 10th Street West at Avenue K-8. Benches and shade structures provide a place for you to wait for your connecting bus. The facility offers free parking, a soda machine and restrooms. Routes 1, 4, 5, 9, 11, 12, 50, 94, 748, 785, 786, and 787 are serviced at Sgt. Steve Owen Memorial Park. To facilitate charging, local routes do not have assigned bays. In Palmdale, AVTA's main transfer center is at the Palmdale Transportation Center on 6th Street East and Technology Drive. Benches and shade structures provide a place for you to wait for your connecting bus. The center offers free parking, restrooms, 24-hour security, and vending machines.
