New Schedules for Routes 5 and 7
Back in June, AVTA made some very popular improvements to Route 1, adjusting frequency and increasing the number of buses. We fine-tuned the Route 1 schedule and ridership is up more than 20% compared to last year this time.
Now AVTA is rolling out more service improvements. Starting November 25, 2019, look for new schedules on Routes 5 and 7. This is just the latest local schedule enhancements based on community research and feedback.
Currently, the scheduled times on routes 5 and 7 vary from 58 minutes to 75 minutes throughout the day depending on traffic. We have researched these routes and spoken with our ridership about their needs and these changes are made based on the feedback we received.
